For the new kind of Theoris on Political Phenomena

Here I am planning to suggest a new kind of "A Theory on Political Phenomena", which is a little radical on one hand and conservative on the other, at once.

I don't use the term "politics" but the term "A Theory on Political Phenomena"  because it does not concern everything in the field of current politics : My theory on political phenomena will aim only to explain 'the political phenomena' just scientifically.

I think my theory can be 'radical' because it is a sort of try which almost political and social scientists so far have thought impossible or ignored : My try is to suggest a scientifical theory that explain every political and social phenomena in every where and at ever time with universal and scientific method, which, of course, should be consistent and based on only a few principles like the system of phisics. Therefore, I'm not intending to claim a sort of politically radical ideology at all.

Then why do I think my theory is 'conservative'?
The political scientists should have tried to understand the political phenomena scientifically (in the similar meaning to that of natural sciences) at first when they made politics as a social science. But all of these trys were forgiven already. They usually explain their abandonment with the conception that "the theories of society themselves influence upon scientists". As a result, there remained very much confused complexes mixed of ideolgy and explanations in the social science now.

I will suggest no political isms in the following pages. For, the isms without practical capability is just inain or violent. I will focus on suggestion of explanations and scientific principles all the way, and I will reserve evaluative judgement, i.e. suggestion of isms. Evaluative judgement is categorized into philosophy, not into the social science in its nature.  

If my theory is successful enough, it would obtain enough power to support its practical capability. For, if we could understand all the given phenomena systemetically and predict the affairs in the future, then we would be able to obtain easily the ability to manipulate such political phenomena based on those understandings and predictions.

A brief explanation on the whole conception

 

My theory begins at first with a few very probable suppostions. First of them says that all of the social phenomena including politicals occur in the activities with which mankind keep his living. Here, 'keeping living' focuses on the biological survival.

Every kind of phenomenon that man creates is the result of processes of his activities to survive and, further more, to live more conveniently and happily. Thus all of these phenoemena have their roots in conditions for man's existence. Therefore, it is necessary to analize the conditions for man's existence, which results in the three main factors that consist all sorts of social phenomena : Pungbaek factor, Woosa factor and Unsa factor.

(Of course, it should be given enough explanation on the exact meaning and the roots of the terms of these three main factors. Let me introduce at first the roots of the terms, Pungbaek, Woosa and Unsa. These are names of the sub-gods in Korean myth, which depict the origin of the country. According to this myth, Tangun, the son of the God came down to earth with these three main secretaries : Pungbaek controls the wind, Woosa the rain, and Unsa had the roll to control the clouds. I selected these names because the wind has the physical power in the air, the rain helps growth of every plants on the earth which results the economical one, and the cloud represents the highness and illusion like ideology.)

Pungbaek factor refers the all kinds of power and force that has physical causal effects : military power, violence, strength in muscle, mechanical durability, and so on. Woosa factor refers all kinds of capacity and power that helps to keep wealth of man and society and suplies goods and money in society. Unsa factor refers all kinds of influences and forces that suggest the objects that individuals and society should pursue and persuades them to act to a certain direction.
 
Many social scientists scrutinized causal relations between the Pungbaek factors(for example, violent factors) and Woosa factors(for example, economical factors) and tried to unite both into a scientifical theory on society, but failed to consider and unite the last factor, I.e. Unsa factors. Particularly, they got very much confused to distinguish the isms as just phenomenon from that as valuable conception along which we ought to act. As far as I think, I succeded in uniting and systemizing all of these three factors in a consistent theory through purely discriptive method on phenomena.

The Pungbaek, Woosa and Unsa factors can be briefly examplized by the isms, military power, and power of money. Sometimes, the knowledge also represents the Pungbaek factor. However, we should be careful not to ignore the "intentional character" in this case. (I will suggest more precise explanation on it later) We can understand and even predict the almost important parts of political phenomena and changes, based on these three factors consistently.

Concerning the Unsa factor, isms and ideology controls and governs the long-term and macro-perspective phenomena. Take, for example, the Catholic church and Christianity have been governing the Western world for many centuries. If we are to find more micro-perspective example, the Marxiam which governed and controled the half of the earth for half century can be a good example. Unsa factor influences on much further extensive area for very long time than that of individual. But those influences are effective very slowly instead. Thus, the confucianism of Con-zu was the the national ideology of the Han(漢)-dynasty, while it could get such influence only after the stabilization of the country.

Pungbaek factor shows the exactly opposite characters to Unsa factor. We can take easy example of it, the violence. Particularly, the military power influences directly and very instantly in a confused political situation. So, given the disorder in a country, usually it is easy of a general to obtain political powers, and even the organized violences become the important influences in society. But such a physical power like military ones has much difficulty keeping their power long.

Woosa factor(economical factor) has middle-term and middle-perspective influence in its area and effects.

Quite many aspects of political phenomena, both in micro-perspective and macro-perspective, can be analyzed, explained and even predicted based on the system of these three main factors. However, these are not all. So we need more two principles on political phenomena.
One of them is the principle necessary in order to explain the interrelations between international phenomena and the domestic political phenomena : the principle on Organization. This principle is on the structure of spatio phenomena while The other is on the structure of temporal change ; the principle on the social changes.

The existing theory on political phenomena focused merely on the micro-perspective phenomena : the power, or the macro-perspective phenomena, the international politics, but they could not unite both into one consistently.
My theory on political phenomena, however, explain all of these phenomena consistently with only a few principles, even the inter-relations of the macro- and micro-perspectives at once.
