3/2-2. POLITICAL BACKGROUND: Geo-Political Situation 3/2-2 (2-15) A geo-political situation refers to the geographical background of a political society. The geo-graphical situation can be conceived generally in categories of 'climate', 'natural resource', 'location', and 'natural environment'. 3/2-2/1 (2-15/2) The geo-political situation has indirect influence in the sense that it is one of factors that determine conditions of existence of mankind in it. A man in a certain time, however, is to be defined based on acumulated past (2-16/1), and its influence is steady, so it has great influence. 3/2-2/2 In a given geo-political situation dispositions, customs, regimes and so on are determined directly by the whole condition of man's existence, so it is difficult to find out distinct and consistent functional relations between them. It has so wide influence, however, so it is not so difficult to conceive its roughly meaningful relations.
